Dr. Sucheta Doshi

Sucheta Doshi, MD, MPH is currently Medical Director of Occupational Health and a Women's Health staff physician at the VA Boston Healthcare System. She is double board certified in Family Medicine and General Preventive Medicine/Public Health. Dr. Doshi has an extensive background in international health, vaccination policy, and infectious disease prevention; she has published and lectured on this subject in various arenas. In her first year at the VA, she received a Special Contribution Award for her technical expertise in managing the H1N1 crisis at the VA.  Prior to coming to the VA, she was an Epidemic Intelligence Service medical officer with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she provided technical assistance to the World Health Organization on several measles and polio outbreak investigations, immunization campaigns, and surveillance evaluations for vaccine preventable diseases in multiple countries. She received a Health and Human Services Distinguished Service Award in 2006 for her work in measles elimination.  She also provided technical assistance to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in the arena of maternal child health and injury prevention as a CDC Preventive Medicine Resident. Prior to working for CDC, Dr. Doshi received her family medicine training at Concord Hospital/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in NH. Dr. Doshi is a longstanding member of AAPI where she was on the Young Physician Board from 2006-2007 and has been a member of IMANE since 2004, serving as the YPS representative for many years before becoming Secretary of the organization in 2009 and now serves as the President-Elect.

Sapna Aggarwal works as an internist at  Acton Medical Associates. Her clinical interests include women's health, preventive medicine. She comes from a family of doctors and grew up in New Delhi, India. Outside of work, Sapna enjoys sports, politics, spending time with her husband, daughter and dog "Gucci."

She is  also the Co Chair of Indian Women Physicians Forum & Chair of Culture Committee of Imane.
She has  tremendous passion for Womens causes & is a Board of Director of ATASK [Asian
Task Force for Domestic Violence].& was also Cochair for Saheli Successful first Fundraiser .
Dr Sheth is also on EC Committee of IAFPE & on Diversity Committee of Beverly Hospital which deals with Racial & Ethnic issues at Workplace .
She was awarded Imane Certificate of Excellence for Community Service in 2010 &

Srinivasan

 
Dr. Prasad Srinivasan
He has served on several committees and as Chair of the AAPI CME Program in Argentina and Brazil. Dr. Srinivasan is a member of the Connecticut Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (CAPI), its recent Past President and a Trustee. He is known to IMANE as he often comes from Hartford to attend our activities. Dr. Srinivasan is a practicing allergist and has been active in civic affairs in Conn. These include Chair, Health Advisory Committee, Public Health Foundation of Conn.; Chair of Hartford County Medical Society; Past Chairman of Finance Committee for the Council on Interreligious Understanding ; and Past Chair of Conn. Valley Hindu Temple Society. He has participated in the AAPI Charitable Foundation, and established with his wife the Prasad Family Foundation to support higher education. His services have been recognized by the Governor of Conn. and the Mayor of Hartford.
     
 
 
  Saldhana  

Dr. Janine Saldanha

Dr. Saldanha has been a long-term member of IMANE. She has served as a New England Regional Director to AAPI, was Co-Convener of the AAPI Convention in Boston in 1991, is Past-President of IMANE and was a Trustee. She was involved in setting up free charitable clinics within the region. Dr. Saldanha has also been active with AAPI and serves as the Chair of Ethics and Grievance Committee, as well a member of the Bylaws and Publications Committee among others. In addition, she is very involved with the Mass Medical Society, is a delegate for Suffolk District Medical Society, and is on the IMG Executive Committee and on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Medical Library.

A Board Certified Anesthesiologist at Mass Eye and Ear and Mass General Hospital, Dr. Saldanha is also very involved in a variety of community services initiatives. She has participated in the Rotary Club, and she has served as President of the Indian American Forum for Political Action, Chair of WGBH TV Boston Community Advisory Board and volunteering as an anesthesiologist to Rotoblast Corrective Surgery mission to South America. In addition, she recently helped organize the candlelight vigil for Mumbai terrorism victims in Boston.

Dr. Sahdev Passey

Sahdev Passey, MD, is a graduate of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India. He arrived in the U.S. in 1973 and has spent his professional career in the Worcester area, first as a pediatric resident at Worcester City Hospital, and subsequently as a Fellow in Ambulatory Pediatrics at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He has been in private practice of pediatrics in Worcester since 1978. Dr. Passey is, or has been, an active volunteer with numerous professional and social organizations, including: Director of Free Health Stop in Shrewsbury, MA; Chair, India Society of Worcester; Chair, Board of Trustees of Indian American Forums for Political Education; Board of Director of the Deveroux School; and Vice Speaker of AAPI. He also is a Community Trustee, United Way of Central MA, and Delegate to the MMS from the Worcester District Society. His efforts have been highly recognized. He has received the MMS Community Physician of the Year Award from the Worcester District Society, a key to the City of Worcester, and a Governor’s Citation for his Community Service in Massachusetts.

Dr. Geeta Trivedi

Geeta Trivedi, MD, graduated from BJ Medical College, Amdavad, Gujarat, India, and soon after started a career in anesthesiology since coming to the U.S. in 1971. She received her anesthesiology training from Cambridge City Hospital and was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard University. She has been on the staff of Malden Hospital and Santa Maria Hospital in Cambridge and currently works at the Same Day Surgical Center in Fall River, MA, as an anesthesiologist. Dr. Trivedi is married to Rajendra Trivedi, MD, who is a psychiatrist in Stoneham, MA, and a member of IMANE. She was Treasurer of IMANE for two years and has volunteered with her husband and their families working with the Blind People’s Association in Gujarat, India.
