Dear IMANE members,

IMANE team is participating in Breast Cancer Walk "Making Strides Against BreastCancer" along with many other teams from New England. This 2 or 5 mile walk is organized by American Cancer Society on October 4, 2015, starting at 8 am at Hatch Shell, Boston followed by live entertainment program on the Hatch stage at 11am.

I have registered our organization for the walk as well as for donations at 'Making Strides of Boston' by American Medical Society website under the Team  Name 'Indian Medical Association of New England', with a goal to raise $1000 or more & with a kick off donation from my side. So let's try to reach this goal or more for this great cause...

Please join us either for the walk or donate as much as you can under our Team Name or Both! I have also included program details here for your convenience. For more details or to donate, please click at the link below to go to our team page at the American CancerSociety website.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancerawareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight against breast cancer. Passionate walk participants raise critical funds that enable the American Cancer Society to fund groundbreaking breastcancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support to those touched bybreast cancer; and help people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it is most treatable.

Thank You,

Why do you walk? Maybe you walk in honor of a breast cancer survivor – the memory of their journey still fresh in your mind. Maybe you lost a loved one to breast cancer and you are walking in their memory. Maybe the memories of your own breast cancer experience motivate your efforts. Or maybe you walk to make sure no one ever has to hear the words “you have breast cancer.”

Whatever your motivation, when you join our family of supporters, you help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against breast cancer. Because of the  dollars you raise and the steps you take, the American Cancer Society is able to help those touched by breast cancer in every community today and work to find cures to end the disease tomorrow.
